HCM 421 - Diverse Cultural and Ethical Perspectives in the Health Care Industry

This course is intended to help learners better understand their own values and ethical principles and how such beliefs relate to the diverse health care world in which they function. Students examine the approved Federal Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations that broke ground in the industry by holding health care organizations responsible for developing corporate values, enforcing their own codes of ethics, and striving to prevent misconduct.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of 300 level courses or permission of the Dean or Program Director.
