HCM 321 - Budgeting and Financial Management in Health Care
3 credits
This course provides an introduction to financial concepts, cost controls, management accounting, and finance decisions involved in health care management. Basic financial concepts of revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity are explored, Cost control procedures covered include budgeting, and variance analysis.
Prerequisite(s): ADU 301 , ADU 303 and ADU 305 or permission of the Dean or Program Director.
