Students are eligible for direct admission to the nursing major after their first semester at WLC, provided they meet the following prerequisite requirements and criteria:

Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher while enrolled at WLC (minimum one semester completed)
A minimum of a C in the required chemistry and psychology courses
Successfully pass a background check

Upon admission to the Nursing Program the student must complete the Major Declaration Form

Major credit requirements:

A minimum grade of C is required in all courses.
Exit cumulative GPA of 2.50 in major.
