CJS 280 - Interview, Interrogate, and Negotiate


3 credits
This course outlines the methods and skill necessary to conduct successful negotiations, and gain control of interviews and interrogations, regardless of who initiates the questioning. Speaking styles, narratives, and confidence in speaking will be studied. Each week the course will introduce skills that will then be practiced so that by the end of the course students will feel confident in their ability to negotiate in an adversarial environment, interview witnesses and other influential partners, and interrogate suspects or other persons of interest.
