NUR 355 - Adult Health 1

BIO 255  NUR 305  NUR 317  Nursing theory focusing on the health care needs of the adult patient in simple care situations. Analysis of current evidence-based practice standards for the care of adults with an integration of health assessment, pathophysiology, pharmacology and the development of safe, patient-centered nursing interventions for acute and chronic health disorders. Emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and risk reduction for adults.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 225  , BIO 255  , NUR 305  , NUR 315  and NUR 317
