Education Minor - Adaptive Education

An Adaptive Education minor can be included with the following programs:

Elementary - Middle Education, BA
Any subject-area education major

The following coursework is required:

EDU 316 - Home/School/Community Partnerships 2 credits
EDU 345 - Instructional Strategies, Assessment, and Curriculum for Students with Learning and Behavior Problems 3 credits
EDU 351 - Strategies for Teaching Behavior-Challenged Learners 3 credits
EDU 352 - Introduction to Learning Disabilities 2 credits
EDU 360 - Student Motivation 2 credits
EDU 403 - Assessment and Evaluation for Academic Success 3 credits
EDU 484 - Practicum in Adaptive Education 2 credits
Students are encouraged to take PSY 101 as their social sciences general education requirement
