To apply for admission to the Nursing Major:
- Submission of Application to the Nursing Program Form
- Minimum of 2.75 cumulative GPA at the time of application
- Minimum of C in required nursing collateral courses
- Successful completion (minimum of a C) of CHE 161 and CHE 168 at the time of application
- Criminal Background Check completed through approved vendor
- Three professional letters of recommendations
- Applicant’s personal statement
- Faculty Interview
- Upon admission to the Nursing Program the student must complete the Major Declaration Form
Meeting the minimum criteria for admission may not be sufficient to be admitted to the nursing major. Consult the School of Nursing advising page for complete details. (link)
Major credit requirements:
- A minimum grade of C is required in all courses.
- Exit cumulative GPA of 2.50 in major.
