The study of biology will introduce the student to the principle aspects of the biological sciences from a Christian perspective. The diversity of plant and animal life, including; their origins, form, function, heredity, development; and their relation to the environment are studied through a variety of classroom, laboratory, and field experiences.

In addition to preparing students to be good stewards of God’s creation, offerings in biology prepare students for careers or graduate study leading to work in:

  • Dentistry, medicine, medical technology, medical research, nursing, physical or occupational therapy, sports medicine, veterinary medicine, and other health professions
