COM 201 - Communication for Professionals 1 3 credits The purpose of this course is to introduce students to communication strategies vital to professional work enviornments. Students will build and refine skills in the areas of business and resume writing, speaking and delivering elevator pitches and interactive presentations, training and development, project management, job searching and interviewing, and relational communication. This course is designed to provide a wide variety of experiences that can be applied to many professional contexts. Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: COM 101 with a grade of C or better and sophomore standing recommended Term Offered: Every semester
