SPM 675 - Professional Writing and Applied Research

This course introduces the exciting world of research design and statistics to sports professionals employed in a variety of settings. The format and techniques for writing a scholarly research paper are presented. Various types of research commonly used in sports are reviewed. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses are covered, with an emphasis on their application to sports. This is a required course for master’s students selecting the Thesis-Option.
