CJS 320 - Juvenile Justice 3 credits This course examines the legal structures of the juvenile justice system related to delinquency, juveniles in need of protection or services, and children in need of protection or services. Students will study the causes and consequences of delinquency, and the correlates of abuse and neglect to the justice system. The course will review the history of juvenile law, the formation of the juvenile justice system, trends in juvenile corrections, and procedural changes happening today. Term Offered: Every Fall
