THE 331 - Introduction to World Religions 3 credits Historical background on the life and teachings of the founders, major beliefs and ritual practices of the major world religions, as well as critical religious and ethical issues facing each religious system at the present. Material will be analyzed and evaluated from a confessional Lutheran perspective. Prerequisite(s): THE 100 , THE 105 , or THE 110 or by permission of instructor; Junior standing recommended Term Offered: Rotational basis General Education: Meets the Applied Theology general education requirement and the Intercultural Knowledge and Competence requirement.
