PSY 120 - Human Growth and Development 3 credits This course provides an introduction to the study of the physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional development of the individual from conception to old age. The course surveys the theory, concepts, and research in the field of human development. Additionally, class discussion focuses on the relationship between psychology and Christian beliefs. Students are also introduced to the scientific writing style of the American Psychological Association (APA). Term Offered: Fall and Spring semesters General Education: This course meets the general education Social Science requirement.
