HIS 342 - Colonial Latin America 3 credits This course studies the development of Latin America from European discovery through the independence movements of the early nineteenth century, with special attention paid to Mexico, the Andes, the Caribbean and Brazil. May be taken as a 400 level thesis course with instructor approval. Course may not be repeated if already taken at the 300 level.
This course meets the Non-Western Education Collateral requirement. Term Offered: Odd spring semesters
