NEU 201 - Principles of Neuroscience 4 credits This course is an introduction to topics in neuroscience beginning with relatively basic concepts such as components of the nervous system, structure and function of neurons, and generation of movement and sensory perception. This course also provides a basic overview of more complex processes such as plasticity and pathology of the nervous system, as well as behavior, sleep, and memory. 3 lec, 3 hrs. lab Term Offered: Fall semester
