MUS 083 - Class Piano 1

The development of basic music reading skills at the piano keyboard. Includes technique, sight reading, basic keyboard harmonization, improvisation, accompaniment and elementary piano repertoire. This course is designed for students who have no prior piano experience. It is also appropriate for students who have had up to two years of prior piano lessons but who wish a thorough review. May be substituted for one semester of MUS 182.
Term Offered: Every semester
