CJS 201 - Criminal Investigation Procedure

This course studies Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment constitutional restraints on the activities of law enforcement officers during the investigatory stage of the criminal process. Lecture topics include: investigative detention, arrest, police interrogation, searches and seizures, and the right to counsel.
